‘Sana All Fresh After Manganak,’ Netizens Tell Jessy Mendiola In Much-Awaited Birth Vlog
Finally, Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano shared the birthing story of their first child, Isabella Rose Tawile Manzano.
In Jessy’s YouTube channel, the actress explained why the vlog took too long. “We’ve been cherishing every single moment with our baby Rosie, kaya talagang medyo hindi ako naging active sa pag-vlog lately. Pero may pambawi ako sa inyo today loves.”
She added, “This episode is very special for me. Mixed emotions. So seeing all of the moments again makes the new momma emotional.”
Before the vlog was published, the couple received bashing for concealing their baby’s face on social media.

Jessy delivers Baby Peanut via C-section
In the vlog, Jessy revealed that she was advised by her OB-GYN to deliver Baby Peanut via a scheduled Caesarean section (CS) on December 28, 2022.
“Scheduled CS ako dahil may cord coil si Peanut and sabi ng OB ko, it’s safer that way kasi siyempre ayaw nating i-risk and syempre since first baby ko, medyo mahirap makalusot si Peanut so may tendency na syempre pag pinilit siyang lumusot, sisikip ang cord coil niya. While waiting for Jessy to give birth, Luis stayed at the consultation room. He said, “Maya-maya magiging erpat na ako. Wow. Madali to take it lightly habang nandun pa sa tiyan ni Howhow, pero yung alam mong nalalapit na, mayayakap mo na, nandun na yung life talaga, wow. But first and foremost, yung health ni Howhow ang importante sa akin.”

New journey as parents
He admits feeling anxious about the arrival of his first child. “This is what we prepared for. This is the start of another journey. Kumbaga dito na papasok yung hardwork bilang magulang. Realign a lot of things sa buhay.”
The new family of three spent their New Year’s in the hospital so doctors can monitor the baby before they bring her home.
Netizens cannot help but admire Luis for being a loving husband and dad. Nevertheless, Jessy received compliments for looking so fresh and beautiful while in the delivery room. One comment read, “Jusko napakaganda ni Jessy, nasaan ang hustisya? No wonder sobrang ganda din ni baby Rosie.”

Luis Manzano as a girl dad
You can see from Papa Luis how much he adores his daughter. Jessy can’t help but say, “In love na in love siya, siguro makakalimutan na niya ako.”
Luis was a natural in making Baby Peanut smile, “Sayang mama didn’t see your smile, but okay lang we have so many years we have a lifetime ahead that we’re gonna make you smile because we love you.”
“We’re gonna make you smile for a lifetime,” the new dad said.
He even shared a hack for other girl dads so that they can shower their newborn babies with kisses too, “Nag-shave talaga ko para dito.”
Back home, Baby Peanut’s first visitor was no other than her Momsie Vilma Santos. Their first moments together were precious.
