Anne Curtis on going back to her love for running
Anne Curtis—a runner?
Yes, get ready to meet sporty Anne once again. After settling into motherhood with baby Dahlia Amèlie, Anne is finishing 21 km runs and living an active lifestyle.
It was a topic that came up during the PICKUP COFFEE Kick-Off Party held at Txoko-Asador Restaurante, Makati, last January 27, 2023.
At the private lunch, Anne was introduced to the press, including PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), as the coffee shop’s latest endorser.
She says, “I’ve just started running again after five years.
“[After] having a baby and then the pandemic happened, so now I’m finally finding the time to start again.
“I do have coffee early in the morning but now that I’m training to go for heart rate over pace.”
Based on her Instagram feed, Anne also enjoys hiking as a cardio workout.
In fact, she has made it a family bonding activity with her husband Erwan Heussaff, and their daughter Dahlia.
Two days after the event, Anne took to Instagram to share their family photo taken during a hiking trip to Baguio City.
To keep up with her busy schedule, Anne admits that she can drink up to four cups of coffee a day.
She does like it iced usually so it won’t be as strong, still, the caffeine is much needed for her high-energy commitments, like being a host on ABS-CBN’s noontime show It’s Showtime.
Evident in Anne’s Instagram feed is her love for coffee. You’ll spot it fast between cups in Melbourne and her Saint Laurent tumbler.

The momentum Anne has isn’t something we’re not used to.
Twenty-five years in the industry, Anne manages to be both an established actress we’ve loved since T.G.I.S. and an influential social media star.
Hand-in-hand with her fitness routine, Anne reps the brand Our Recess, an activewear line she co-founded with Isabelle Daza, Paulina Ortega, and Roxanne Farillas.
She always shares her insights about beauty through her makeup and skincare line BLK.
On top of that, Anne works with international names like Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co.
Not stopping there, Anne also wants to slowly go back into acting.
Last year, at the launch of Anne for Prime Video, PEP.ph asked her if she was considering taking on acting roles.
After all, Anne started out in showbiz at 12 years old when she was part of the movie Magic Kingdom: Ang Alamat ng Damortis.
When asked about going back to her first love, she told PEP.ph back then, “I think so!
“That’s why I did the concert because it was a one-day thing, and I felt that it would be a great way to get into the groove again.
“And then I started doing [It’s Showtime], twice a week. So I’m slowly, slowly getting there.
“And I think, definitely, acting is the next thing I want to get a comeback in.”
